Acceptance of terms

By using the GreenKwacha Initiative website or opting in to our text messaging program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use these services.

Text messaging program

GreenKwacha Initiative offers an SMS/text messaging program to keep you informed about our programs, field activities, and initiatives. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from GreenKwacha at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.

• Program description: program updates, field activity notices, and initiative announcements from GreenKwacha Initiative.
• Message frequency varies; you will receive up to approximately 2–4 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
• Help: reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@greenkwacha.org.
• Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

For details on how we handle mobile opt-in data, see our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Donations

Donations are made to GreenKwacha Foundation, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code (EIN 41-5043719). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

• Voluntary & final. All donations are voluntary and, because they fund charitable work as it is received, are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was charged, contact us within 15 days at donate@greenkwacha.org and we will review your request in good faith.
• Currency. Donations are processed in U.S. dollars (USD). Your bank or card issuer may apply currency-conversion fees for gifts made from outside the United States.
• Recurring gifts. If you choose a monthly donation, you authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time by emailing donate@greenkwacha.org; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past gifts.
• Use of funds. GreenKwacha Foundation directs donations toward its charitable mission at its reasonable discretion. We are unable to guarantee that a gift will be applied to a specific project unless agreed in writing.
• Receipts. A donation receipt is emailed automatically after a successful gift. Keep it for your tax records.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by GreenKwacha. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information you provide.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our website and services lawfully and not to interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use them to transmit harmful or unlawful content.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to GreenKwacha Initiative and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce it without permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GreenKwacha Initiative is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
